Typos and mistakes happen easily. Did you accidentally make a mistake with your order? Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will immediately check if we can still change it. The fastest way to reach us is via WhatsApp (click here) or by phone from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM via 020-7744945.

Please note: LaserLab is not responsible for typos or incorrect information in the order. If your order has already gone into production, we unfortunately can no longer make any changes. Therefore, always double-check the spelling and entered details extra carefully before placing your order!

Yes, absolutely! We do a lot of custom work. Saw something that isn't in our webshop yet? Just send us a DM or get in touch, and we'll take care of your order!

Yes, in principle, any design or font can be cut out. However, there are a few aspects to keep in mind. For example, the sturdiness of the cut-out product largely depends on the design. If you choose an elegant text with thin lines, the material will be very fragile; a font with thicker borders is a lot sturdier. Of course, this also depends on the intended use. We are happy to advise you on the best options!

Want to have your own custom design or logo engraved? No problem! We prefer working with vector files, such as .svg, .eps, .ai, .cdr, or .pdf formats. Not sure if your file meets the requirements? Simply email us the highest quality you have to design@laser-lab.nl, and we’ll review it for you. We can also help convert files into the correct format if needed.

We can engrave a wide variety of products, but not everything. The most suitable materials are wood, acrylic, glass, leather, cork, denim, cardboard, paper, metal, aluminum, and stainless steel.

There are a few practical limits when it comes to size:

  • For most materials and products, the maximum size is 130 x 90 x 30 cm (W × L × H).

  • Metal items can be up to 40 cm wide and 20 cm high (the length doesn't matter here), with a maximum engraving area of 20 x 20 cm.

Absolutely! You can either bring in your own items for engraving or choose from our selection of products and materials to be engraved or custom cut

Every material reacts differently to laser processing, making the end result unique. Therefore, we can never guarantee the exact outcome in advance.

For this reason, engraving items you bring in is always at your own risk, and we cannot provide a guarantee on the final result in advance. Don't worry: we always handle your items with the utmost care and will carefully discuss the feasibility with you beforehand!

Unfortunately, it's not possible to choose a specific color for your engraving (such as white, black, or gold). Laser engraving works by removing or heating the material. Because every type of material reacts differently to the laser, we have no control over this.

As a result, we cannot guarantee any specific color, the color of the engraving depends entirely on the material itself.

No, we cannot cut metal with our laser. Our machines are set up for engraving metals (such as aluminum, stainless steel, and metal objects), but completely cutting through metal requires different techniques.

However, we can effortlessly cut various other materials for you, such as wood, acrylic, leather, and cardboard. Unsure about the possibilities for your material? Feel free to contact us or drop by!

Yes, that is definitely possible! We can engrave various types of metal, such as aluminum, stainless steel, and metal objects.

Examples of metal objects we frequently engrave:

  • Water bottles and tumblers (such as Stanley Cups)

  • Cardholders

  • Metal business cards

  • Keychains and dog tags

Good to know regarding the dimensions: The metal product itself can be a maximum of 40 cm wide and 20 cm high (the length of the object does not matter here). The actual engraving area can be a maximum of 20 x 20 cm in size.

Yes, that is certainly possible! We can engrave your laptop keyboard with a different alphabet or layout.

Please note:

  • At your own risk: Engraving a laptop keyboard is entirely at your own risk; we are not liable for any potential damage or malfunctions to the device.

  • Backlighting: We cannot guarantee in advance that the new alphabet will also be backlit. How the backlighting responds and whether it becomes translucent varies entirely per laptop and keyboard type.

Laser processing involves intense heat, which can occasionally leave light burn marks or residue on certain materials. The visibility of these marks depends on factors such as the material type, color, font, and design. For instance, burn marks are typically more noticeable on lighter-colored surfaces, such as white, than on darker shades.

Naturally, all our products are thoroughly cleaned immediately after laser processing to ensure a neat, polished finish. However, certain materials or colors may still retain a slight trace of residue. We always inform you of this beforehand, giving you the opportunity to switch to a different color or material type if preferred.
