Are all products suitable for engraving?

While we can engrave a massive range of items, there are limits.The best materials for engraving include wood, acrylic, glass, leather, cork, denim, cardboard, and paper. Additionally, the item must fit inside our laser cutter, so it cannot exceed 130 x 90 x 30 cm (W x L x H). Not sure if your product will work? Bring it by or contact us!

I made a mistake in my order. What should I do?

We all make mistakes! If you noticed a typo or error in your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to fix it. The quickest way is to call us at 020-7744945 (available Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

PLEASE NOTE: LaserLab is not responsible for spelling errors or typos made during the ordering process. Once an order is in production, changes cannot be made. Please double-check all information and spelling before finalizing your order!

I saw an item on your social media, but can't find it in the shop. Is it still available to order?

Yes, absolutely! We do a lot of custom work. Saw something that isn't in our webshop yet? Just send us a DM or get in touch, and we'll take care of your order!

Can I bring in my own items to be personalized?

Absolutely! You can either bring in your own items for engraving or choose from our selection of products and materials to be engraved or custom cut

Are all designs and fonts suitable for cutting?

Yes! In principle, any design or font can be cut out. However, there are a few things to keep in mind. The durability of the final product depends heavily on the design. For instance, a cursive font with very thin lines will be quite fragile, whereas a bold font offers much more stability. It also depends on its intended use. We're always happy to advise you on the best options!

Is there any risk when engraving my own products?

Het woord “Lab” in onze winkelnaam zegt het al een beetje. Wij experimenteren heel veel met verschillende materialen en producten. Omdat elk materiaal anders reageert kunnen we nooit 100% garanderen hoe de gravure wordt of hoe een laser op een materiaal uitpakt. Graveren op eigen product is dan ook altijd op eigen risico, uiteindelijk kunnen we niet verantwoordelijk zijn voor het resultaat. Tenzij we zelf natuurlijk iets ontzettend stoms doen!

How can I check if my design file is suitable for production?

Want to have your own design or logo engraved? No problem! We prefer working with vector files, such as .svg, .eps, .ai, .cdr, or .pdf formats. Not sure if your file meets the requirements? Simply email the highest quality file you have to design@laser-lab.nl, and we'll check it for you. We can also convert files to the correct format if needed.

Er Zijn Brandvlekken Zichtbaar Op Mijn Product. Hoe Kan Dit?

Het graveren of uitsnijden middels een laser veroorzaakt brandvlekken op het materiaal, dit komt omdat de laser als het ware door het materiaal heen brandt. De afwerking is daarom ook afhankelijk van verschillende factoren, zoals het materiaal, de kleur, het lettertype en design. Op sommige (lichtere) kleuren, zoals wit, zijn de brandvlekken zichtbaarder dan op andere kleuren. Daarnaast is het ook afhankelijk van het materiaal dat is gekozen. Alle producten worden na het laseren direct grondig schoongemaakt, voor een nette afwerking. Helaas blijft het bij sommige kleuren/materialen toch nog een beetje zichtbaar. Wij informeren alle klanten hier vooraf over, zodat je eventueel de kleur en/of het materiaal nog kan wijzigen.
